CNC lathe is a typical product of mechatronics. It is an automatic equipment integrating machine tool, computer, motor and its drag, automatic control and detection.
The spindle motor transmits the power to the spindle box through the belt pulley. The spindle is equipped with a chuck to fix the workpiece, and the workpiece is fixed on the chuck. The spindle will rotate at a certain speed according to the current processing technology of the workpiece, and the tool will feed (move in the x-axis and z-axis direction) according to the process requirements to realize the cutting of the workpiece.

Due to the continuous updating of the process and the continuous improvement of the requirements, the future development of the spindle requires high speed, high precision, high stability, as well as positioning function.
System scheme
This scheme uses vl6100 series vector general inverter to drive lathe spindle motor, open-loop vector control mode, analog (0 ~ 10V) given frequency, external terminal start stop, fault signal output. In order to decelerate and stop the machine more quickly, the frequency converter needs to be equipped with appropriate brake resistance.
Features of the scheme
(1) Low frequency torque is large, and 150% torque output can be achieved at 0.5Hz for cutting;
(2) The speed setting linearity is good, the speed stability precision is high, and the speed fluctuation is small when the load changes;
(3) The acceleration and deceleration time is short, 150Hz with chuck can reach 1s;
(4) Special three proofing paint process, glue treatment of fan solder joint, and dust-proof label are selected to ensure the reliability of the product in humid and dusty environment.
